Established in 1997, Rejang Specialist Hospital (previously known as Rejang Medical Centre) is specialist hospital, located 10 minutes away from the Sibu town centre. Initially starting out as a small maternity unit, Rejang Specialist Hospital is now one of the largest private hospitals in the Sarawak central region, with over 200 staff, 12 resident specialists and over 10 visiting specialists. We currently manage 49 beds, and other facilities such as 2 operating theatres, 2 labour rooms, endoscopy rooms, a laboratory, a blood bank, a pharmacy, a day procedure unit as well as radiology services.Collectively they cover the core specialties – General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, General Medicine, Ear Nose & Throat and Radiology.
