Grass is greener on the other side, FOR SURE
    The good thingsNice work colleagues
The challengesCannot challenge management’s idea. Toxic environment. Too much politics. You will be assigned multiple tasks even it is not in your JD if you did not dare to say ‘NO’ when you should be. Ridiculous WCM standards which drag you behind like you are in 1990’s period. Low annual increment as well. Lack of training and development program. You must be self starter and resourceful to excel in your position.

No need to follow COVID SOP by MOH?
The good things-still looking for one-
The challengesThere's been a positive COVID case recently, seems like no plan to follow quarantine SOP by MOH. Atleast Chinaman company don't pretend to have standards when not having any.

Toxic culture. The boss gets what the boss wants.
The good thingsFriends, which you can find in other places too.
The challengesManagement makes decision and send out in email saying 'your feedback is appreciated', but in actuality during face-to-face discussion you'd better follow him/her if you want to keep working there.

    Lack of company vision
The good thingsProven fact that friends can make anything better.
The challengesToo much focus on being 'visual' for visitors but foregoing the actual work. Also rapid management changes causing your long term work to be forsaken if not aligned with new management. Setting of non-S.M.A.R.T. objectives by the management which puts unrealistic expectations for the team.

In the past couple of years I've been in this company, it has been a very good experiences for me and I've gained a lot of knowledges and skills during these period.
The good thingsThe working environment is good and healthy. All the staff here are very friendly and easy to communicate with. The company took care of their staff well-being and always provide their staff with the opportunity to go outside for training to gain more knowledge and workings skills. The company also encourage their staff to be entrepreneur as long as it does not interfere with their job at the company.
The challengesSince this company has many groups under it, the communication between the group is pretty tough. Certain tasks took a while to get it done due to miscommunication and due to person in charge not responded to the query.

All tasks must be completed within the dateline given and all records must be updated also in the system. Once you have delayed your task, it will affect others department quality and reporting.

    Poor management
The good thingsThere are good people in the place and that made the experience slightly better. Because the turn over was so high either they were willing or unwillingly gave me the chance to take on a more challenging role.
The challengesThe management is unorganized and unwilling to solve the issue at hand. Management under estimate the complexity of running such a plant. Before processes could stabilize new procurement contracts we signed to have cheaper materials in thus causing the manufacturing to suffer a vicious cycle of always trying to stabilize.

The good thingsThey are a very well organized and have a great management team. Be prepared for a comprehensive and professional in house training throughout Asia and Europe. Very attractive yearly saving scheme provided and a great working environment.
The challengesSlow communication flow as it's a huge organization. May get discourage or demotivated because of the long distance management. A higher operating margin leading to a higher selling price and slower delivery options.
