What’s it like working at Sarawak Shell?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Sarawak Shell appreciate the training and development opportunities, access to global expertise, and career growth potential across various projects. The excellent salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and healthy lifestyle benefits, is highly valued. Additionally, the work-life balance is commended, with flexible work hours and the ability to adjust schedules. The work environment is described as friendly, multicultural, respectful, and focused on diversity and inclusion.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as the unpredictable oil prices and their impact on the business, which is outside the organisation's control. Some employees find the numerous processes and systems to be excessive and in need of simplification. Certain roles, such as Customer Sales, may experience a heavy workload and require coordination with multiple parties. For those working offshore, the travel and time away from family can be a challenge.
