Fast paced 5 star hotel with perks and benefitsGood exposure for new people/employee (I am a fresh graduate btw) that wants to dive into hotel management as this is a 5 star hotel. A lot of standards, procedure and compliance to adhere to but overall that is why it is 5 star. All colleagues are very friendly and approachable but must be able to understand their body language. Super fast paced but comes either great work satisfaction. Super great benefits given to staff but wishing for more. Fast paced means high stress. Working late hours frequently, HR is not easy, little things also staff will come looking for you and they want it to be done now. On top of that, need to balance on HR tasks on such little time.

    I miss working there.
The good thingsFriendly colleagues & team leader. Many fun activities like yoga, movies, we can also participate all of them if you want for example Halloween costumes. Even HR are very understanding. But as long as you work really hard, maintain your punctuality & good records, lots of benefit you can enjoy.
The challengesshift hours, keen to details and up to date with hotels from time to time as hotels always change their process or ways of maintain and attract new guests. Sometimes, new procedure that we need to keep up and we need to be FAST. Type fast, wrap up your call fast BUT efficient.

    Good Experience
The good thingsI enjoy working here because i learn something from the colleagues. They are friendly and willing to teach me. Meanwhile, they do their job responsibly and take it seriously. They maintain a high standard and always enhance guest staying experience!
The challengesI think intern student should allow to participate in meeting in order to improve serving guest and know-how to handle the problem when we meet the same situation again. Also, manager should treat intern student with fair. I strongly believe all this can be improve easily by managers.

Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour concept is about trendy so the worker can wears jeans and be yourself while having conversation with the guest but of course still follow the hotel guideline.
The good thingsAll the staff are friendly, free spirit and also helpful. If you don't know something there will always someone to back you up. At this work place, everyday is an adventure and hotel will always have event for the staff like sport, charity, appreciation day for hardworking staff so that why i recommend it, just for you guys to experience it.
The challengesThe challenge is always about how you can adapt at the work place. Well, every work places in the world always the worst boss so its common and just roll with it and it also about how you can handle pressure because even though its not hard, its is also not easy. My advice is you will get stress when you working but in front of a guest, customer or staff just smile.
