15 years ago i might like the culture in shell but today they are moving towards value streaming organisation. They are back to a very lean-structured and basic market-standards organisation. no more party for shell staff. With the recent change, if you're not impacted and stay on with the company you will suffer. Even you move out you will suffer. But that's how every company is operating these days. AI has change the way of working for company towards decarbonisation.The good thingsThis is the best company that anyone could imagine working with, but also depends on the department and leader that you're working with. The culture, the respect, safety, benefits, environment, colleague and process hard to get anywhere else. Shell is so structured and transparence.
The challengesYour working might be too focus on one process resulted that you will not have enough experience on the end-to-end process, especially if you're doing process and transaction role. And the change are too fast that what you know today might not be applicable tomorrow. Leaders keep changing, decision keep turning, reorganisation is consistent until hard to cope up.
