    15 years ago i might like the culture in shell but today they are moving towards value streaming organisation. They are back to a very lean-structured and basic market-standards organisation. no more party for shell staff. With the recent change, if you're not impacted and stay on with the company you will suffer. Even you move out you will suffer. But that's how every company is operating these days. AI has change the way of working for company towards decarbonisation.
    The good thingsThis is the best company that anyone could imagine working with, but also depends on the department and leader that you're working with. The culture, the respect, safety, benefits, environment, colleague and process hard to get anywhere else. Shell is so structured and transparence.
    The challengesYour working might be too focus on one process resulted that you will not have enough experience on the end-to-end process, especially if you're doing process and transaction role. And the change are too fast that what you know today might not be applicable tomorrow. Leaders keep changing, decision keep turning, reorganisation is consistent until hard to cope up.

    The good thingsIt's a energetic working place here, there are quiet a lot of activities to cheer you up. If you really enjoy on that, you will love it.
    The challenges- Their salary package can count as low, just provided with brunch of allowance with not that high basic salary - Not every department has helpful colleagues and even you have report on such issue also nobody will really care on that

This company assists staff to find the relevant key performance indicators to identify workers strengths and weakness and utilises the strenghts for better performance and reduces weaknesses. Staff are allowed to voice out for any satsifaction and dissatisfaction without worries and any suggestions to change is very well accepted.
    The challengesAs everyone is given a fair chance to perform, there will be a certain level of competition between each workers. There will be time some workers are left out as the better would definitely be given more opportunities and the ones left out are not too attended to. Managers must be fair in treating all staffs equal and be given level opportunities to be rewarded.

    A good place to work
    The good thingsFirst and foremost the location. The location is near to my home and less massive traffic. Working in SHELL giving me lots of opportunity to further understand on my weakness and strenght. I have learned so much things and improve/developement myself in so many areas mainly in my communication skills.
    The challengesMost of the jobs offer are for contractor basis. It would be better if the jobs offer are for permenant staff. Knowing that there are so many offers out there people are not looking at the job as serious as they would. Most of them(contractor) are only sustain for few months and they're left the company for another job offer which are more secure for their future/career path.
