    An Average MNC Company
The good thingsThe working culture is collaborative, all colleagues are supportive. My superior was giving full support when I first enter the company, coaching and helping me to improve my knowledge. You will get paid for overtime work which most company doesn't in Malaysia. Extra allowances if you could speak Japanese.
The challengesThe average age of co-workers is relatively large, kind of old fashion culture. Hence, the communication between department are low efficient, and the work system is traditioned. Salary and increment range is slightly low compared to the market. Annual leave is less only for 8 days for first 2 years of work.

The challengesThe medical benefits and attendance is not industry standard. No flexible working hours. Allowance is cut if you take an MC.

    Bad for Career Development
The good thingsProvide lots of hands-on experience especially during the 1 yr training in Japan. Great colleagues :)
The challengesTop management has a very bad management skills despite of having more than 15 years working experience especially the Human Resources (HR) department. Non-competent HOD with poor decision making skills and lack of leadership skill. Focusing on works that are out of the department's jobscope. Dictatorship management. Salary is low compared to other companies within similar industry. Company's vision and mission are not well established. Title hierarchy is not well organized and established. Non-conducive and ergonomic working/office area. Hygiene is also not well taken care of. Outdated technologies, not willing to invest in the technology upgrades even though this can bring benefit to the employees.

Poor career growth & development with below par increments & benefits.
The good thingsOverseas training in Japan for few 6months~ 1 year. OT are claimable. Friendly co-workers. Salary paid on time. Able to go back on time.
The challengesPoor management. (Bias portfolio management, Cost reduction program should be isolated from other responsibilities and not held by the same person). Unclear career growth (Especially for engineers). Unrevised salary package, compensation & benefits. (Below par increment). Improvement on process is saturated due to machine limitation. Dusty environment.

Unhealthy environment and bad career growth
The good thingsGood colleagues to work. Work only in office, not allowed at home which is a good thing. Process are not hard to understand.
The challengesLow salary and increment. Dictator management. Production environment is unhealthy and dusty due to the nature of the product (powder). Technology used and facilities is outdated. Definitely not a good place to stay for long term.

Great company to begin your career with
The good thingsA lot of experienced staff willing to share their knowledge and experience as long as you are willing to learn.
The challengesWhenever you have different personalities working together under the same roof, there is bound to be friction from time to time. Teams working under deadline and under pressure may be more apt to have flare-ups of tempers and other issues. While in theory it is possible for everyone to get along, it rarely happens.
