Established in 1985, Sobena Offshore Inc Sdn Bhd ("SOI") is a Petronas licensed SP1-Pipe Threading contractor & one of the pioneers of OCTG end-finishing services company in Malaysia.Presently, SOI has 2 production plants at Kemaman Supply Base and Asian Supply Base respectively. The plants are equipped with over twenty units of CNC lathe machines and various other facilities to provide services ranging from material inspection, connection machining for both OCTG and drill pipes, material treatment, manufacturing of couplings, manufacturing of OCTG accessories, buck-off and make-up of pipes and accessories for customers within and outside Malaysia.
