What’s it like working at Tech-Store Malaysia?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees appreciate the collaborative environment and supportive colleagues at Tech-Store Malaysia, noting that team members work well together and help each other. Staff value the opportunity to learn new technologies and work with state-of-the-art security systems, particularly from European suppliers. The facilities are excellent, and salary is competitive for entry-level positions and paid on time.

However, there are some potential challenges, including inconsistent management with unclear direction and changing priorities from upper management. Employees indicate there is limited guidance available, with staff expected to learn independently and be self-sufficient. Tight deadlines and heavy workloads can be demanding, with some work required on public holidays. Some staff have noted that career growth opportunities may be limited, and standard operating procedures may not always be consistently applied across the organisation.

    there is good and bad
The good thingsIf you truly- truly excel at your work — and I mean genuinely impeccable performance — then you’ll be in a position to make demands.
The challengesYou need to be exceptionally good at multitasking across all aspects — procurement, contracts, technical, project management, QS, and everything else. Because every single mistake, no matter who caused it, will ultimately fall under you. And when that happens, you’ll be the one held accountable while everything turns chaotic

They just use your mind, energy and they never give you credit.
The good thingsSelf-independent, meaning you have to learn everything by yourself without anyone guiding you, and you're expected to be a super expert.
The challengesLousy management. Yes, they have proper SOPs, but they don't apply them when necessary. In the end, they do what they want, even if it's wrong. But when the tables turn, they're going to blame you.
