This company suffers from serious management and planning issues. Decisions are often reactive
The good things• You will gain basic exposure to daily operations • Some colleagues are helpful despite the environment
The challenges• Poor management planning and lack of clear direction • Frequent last-minute decisions that directly impact employees • Chronic understaffing leading to burnout and excessive workload • Little to no career progression or skills development • Management communication is inconsistent and often unclear • Employee concerns are largely ignored until issues escalate • Job security is weak due to unstable decision-making

High pressure, low support, unrealistic expectations
The good things• Stable salary payout • Exposure to structured call-center operations • Suitable for individuals who can handle extreme pressure and strict performance monitoring
The challenges• Extremely short ACW - only 15 seconds after each call. • Heavy protocol requirements combined with constant monitoring. Every action is tracked, creating a high-pressure environment that prioritizes avoiding mistakes over delivering quality service. • Leadership coverage is inconsistent. Some shifts have no Team Leader on duty, leaving agents without immediate support during urgent situations, yet full accountability remains, including the risk of warning letters if issues arise. • Last-minute tasks are common and are often expected to be completed outside scheduled working hours. • Break policies are overly restrictive, with toilet breaks deducted from break time. • Understaffing is frequent, leave approval is difficult, and Malaysian public holidays are converted into replacement leave rather than proper compensation, which feels unfair.

Although this company has received the "Best Place to Work" award for several years, the positive reviews are mainly from foreign employees who earn higher salaries. In contrast, local employees tend to have lower salaries, which may lead to decreased job satisfaction among them. Additionally, recent layoffs and budget cuts could further affect employee morale and loyalty. This situation may indicate an imbalance in the company's compensation and employee benefits.
The good thingsYou can have plenty of hot food and fruit, but the food provided has been insufficient. The level of work pressure depends on the projects assigned to you; some projects are relatively easy, while others can be quite overwhelming.
The challengesRecently, it has been reducing staff and cutting budgets. Many long-term employees have either been forced to resign or have been placed on a floating period.

Company requests former employees to rate them good reviews but leave these employees with bad feedback.
The good thingsI found nothing in the company I felt satisfied.
The challengesToxic working environment. Force agents to deal with high volume tasks then terminate them. Layoff good performance employees. Give them negative feedback to prevent them from new job/growing career.

We can make money but that's all.
The good thingsPayment was not so bad, I could have one week accommodation with good hotel.
The challengesMy colleague prepared release letter from his previous employer but HR denied and he needed to go back to his country. Since this year there are no compensation day off of working public holidays, for management job and a few higher salary language workers. Things are changing a lot.

Not The Best Place To Work as Claimed
The good thingsNothing really good here. Only good thing is that you will not bring your work back home. That's all.
The challenges- toxic management - office politic is really bad to the core. They even have groups and will boycott or sabotage people they do not like. - career advancement will only go to bootlickers. they do not really see the results. - mandarin speakers are being taken advantage of. - very low salary increment yearly.

Experience coming from a recent bachelor's graduate. Customer service is not for the faint hearted.
The good things- Helpful colleagues - Learned a lot in a very short amount of time
The challenges- Mental exhaustion - The complexity of issues (no one solution fits all) - Too many procedures which constantly change making it harder to understand and cope with - Balancing work and life - Cultural sensitivity is almost non-existent
