The Windsor was built between 1895 and 1898 and remains one of the great surviving hotels in Australia. The Windsor is a fine example of the commercial architecture of prominent Perth architect JJ Talbot Hobbs. JJ also designed the Swan Brewery in Mount Street, so he understood a bit about beer. The Windsor was built for George Strickland for the princely sum of four thousand and fifty pounds.Source: This is an extract from the company's own website.

The venue and facilities are well-regarded, with the nice building and convenient location being highlighted as positives. Additionally, the salary is considered good by staff members.

However, there are some potential challenges, including concerns about management and organisational leadership. Came for one trial, never heard back
The good thingsNice venue and location.
The challengesI'm an experienced bartender so I picked up the ropes pretty quickly. However, the first red flag was when a member of staff who'd been working there for 3 months, had been there the longest out of the rest of the bar staff. A girl who I quickly learnt was new to the role asked me where a bottle was and I helped her despite only just walking into the venue lol. Overall seemed disorganised and management seems to have an issue with keeping staff there long. Glad I didn't get the job.

The manager James intimidated me. I worked here for 3 months which he persisted to belittle me in front of others and had an aggressive behaviour. It seemed he used his workplace as his social club, and if you weren't in it he wanted to push you out. Many people who I worked with came and left, and many people came for trial shifts who were never seen again. I was dismissed without a reason during my time there. Horrible place to work.
The good thingsNice building and facilities
The challengesThe manager and most management the hours
