    It doesn't feel like management provides adequate support or genuinely treats employees as valuable assets. Social media platforms like LinkedIn often paint an unrealistic picture, promoting an inaccurate portrayal of the actual working environment within the company. Hardworking employees are not appropriately recognized or encouraged, while those who prioritize flattery and office politics seem to climb the ranks faster than those who put in real effort.

    The challengesManagement often fails to communicate effectively, making it difficult for important messages to reach the working level. Despite having numerous VPs, directors, and managers, the hierarchy feels like an upside-down pyramid

    Lack of work-life balance and poor management
    The good thingsPotential for high salary, including supervisor titles with up to 5 digits. On-site cafeteria with a daily allowance of RM 5. Flexible working hours, depending on the department. Medical and other benefits are comparable to other MNC. Uses SAP S/4HANA system. Quarterly bonuses based on performance (no bonus if performance is lacking). Fixed 13th month bonus.
    The challengesPoor work-life balance. Mandatory work despite medical or annual leave without compensation, considered as FOC service. Excessive managers and directors without clear functionality. Few lower-level employees handling tasks meant for many. Focus solely on profit, disregarding lower-level employees' feedback. Lack of strong procedures. Management frequently changes direction, creating problems for lower-level staff. Non-compliance with labor laws due to demands for more than 48 hours per week, including indirect pressure to work from home during medical or annual leave. Poor management overall.

    Lack of management direction and role & responsibility with privilege for selected department
    The good thingsPlenty of new business is awarded to UCTM and business partner is collaborate with UCTM to achieve excellence.
    The challengesToxic working environment with selected department have high compensation and promotion rate with less job and task. The management team preferred single race to lead organization without clear role & responsibility for each representative. There a lot re-joiners been received better re-join package which is unfair for those continue stay in UCTM and lack in talent retention. Hiring does not filter or review by HR, it's straight submit CV to hiring manager.
