    Challenging yet rewarding leadership role in regional IT OperationsI had the opportunity to serve as Lead IT Support at ViewQwest Management Sdn Bhd, where I was responsible for overseeing IT operations across multiple group entities. My role involved consolidating decentralized IT support teams, implementing standardized processes, and driving initiatives such as service desk implementation and asset management improvements. Working closely with senior management, I was trusted to lead infrastructure upgrades, streamline IT support workflows, and contribute to cross-border projects, especially in aligning Singapore and Malaysia operations. The company provided exposure to fast paced telecom and broadband environments, requiring both hands on technical skills and strategic planning. I valued the autonomy given in decision making, and the experience has significantly enhanced my leadership and problem solving capabilities. It's a great place for individuals who are proactive, adaptable, and ready to take ownership of projects with regional impact.

    For candidates that would like to explore more on current and new technologies; and get a chance to work closely with other close stakeholders, this is a good place to start. Like any other Telco industry, although there is challenges to face and pressure to deal, but it's worth it.
    The good thingsIt's a good place for knowledge growth. From technical perspective, this is a good place for play in a playground, filled with current and new technologies. The engineers/staff are friendly and able to guide and teach each other. Recommend for new candidate who has team-player as their forte, as it is a good exposure to new/different projects, hence they will have opportunity to work with different stakeholders and different team members.
    The challengesToo deal with the dateline/rfs of each project, and rectifying the blockage faced by engineers during testing phase
