It's a good starting point for fresh graduates, or if ur desperately unemployed, u cannot stay there too long because salary increase only by RM50-90 per year (maybe just more to the higher ups or favourites)
The good thingsGood digital platform, visionary leader as the VC, great location by the beach
The challengesWorking with not-so-professional old staffs who hate changes, academics memberes lack of respects to admin n support staffs, the higher-ups have personal bias in ethnicity when it comes to promotion and salary, they also dont reward loyalty of old staffs but rather offer higher pays to new hires

No such things as staff empowerment
The good thingsThe environment is nice, the building is located by the seaside.
The challengesToo micromanage. The manager did not empower the staff. Even if you are at an executive level and above you still have no right to make decisions, what else to involve in planning? Only managers attend meetings, make decisions, planning. Other than the managers, other staff just do clerical work. If you are an experienced worker this is not the place where you can learn new things or unleash your potential.

you cannot get all in one place, can you?
The good thingsthe campus by the beach will make you somehow okay to come to work.
The challengesthe senior colleagues are quite micromanaged. they cannot delegate tasks and are very controlling. if you come here with experiences, you cannot learn so many things. but if you are a fresh graduate then this place is suitable for you.

    GSA department
The good thingsOverall company benefit was good. Working 5 days per week.
The challengesManagement in GSA department is not good which make their turn over rate to be very high. Will not recomend to work in GSA department. The top management should look into this matter to prevent from staff leaving and maintain a good image of the university.

I have been working for a year now & I love it
The good thingsI enjoy working here because its less stressful & the working environment is so good. The students are also friendly & obedient. Teaching working adult could be stressful if the class is not fun. I enjoy teaching here.
The challengesI think that the payment is just okay.It would be nice to have extra but nevertheless, everything is good. Our bosses are all in Penang so we can actually be our own bosses and its less stressful like that haha.. The internet connection are also good & the technician up to the colleagues are super friendly. I am happy.

The good thingsHaving a good environment and meet nice people here. Learning how to handle to set up an exhibition and communicate with the artists as well. I would like to stay but it is too far from my hometown, so I decided to resign and get back to Penang.
The challengesI need to arrange well every details of the exhibitions. And of course must be careful to take care the art works as well. Besides that, I need to arrange the volunteers to do their jobs in proper position, so that make the job become more efficient.

It’s a place you will never be appreciated and very last minute Pn their job.
The good thingsJust having some colleagues who are good.
The challengesThey give you last minute job and they tell you it’s a failure before even trying or they say you sit on the job when the higher management are the one sitting on the job. You barely learn anything besides scanning, photocopy and also the system.

    Depends on what you want....
The good thingsFlexible working hours, building facing the seaside, most of the colleagues are nice, relaxing working place.
The challengesSalary pays lower than job market. For those who work long in this company does not receive any promotion or increment much. In fact, those who job-hop received higher salary pay and better position.
