Poor management with no clear vision for staff development or future career growth. High staff turnover is common, as employees come and go frequently. The company provides outdated uniforms and focuses on producing low-cost products that fail to stand out in the market. Overall, the workplace feels more suited for entry-level or older employees, rather than those seeking real career advancement.
The good thingsgood thing you can work lifetime survive
The challengesIf there were awards for shoe-polishing and brown-nosing, management here would win gold. Sadly, when it comes to real leadership or staff development, they don’t even qualify.

Limited growth and poor sterile department management despite supportive team and basic benefits.
The good thingsFree lunch provided every day, which helped reduce daily expenses and made meal planning easier. For those working the night shift, the company also offered a night allowance, which was a helpful financial incentive. The team I worked with was highly knowledgeable and cooperative.
The challengesAs a degree holder, the technician role felt limiting. The work was more aligned with that of an operator, involving weekly shift rotations. Career advancement opportunities were minimal, and the salary did not reflect my qualification level. The management was poorly organized.

The good things. Contractual 1 month bonus and following with another 2 month incentive separately which given base on performance. . Free meal . Uniform provided . Healthy working environment. Superior and colleague are warm and helpful. you wont be lost here. they will guide you till you do it good. . do have yearly increment and salary paid on time. . annual leave given good enough and they quit flexible about applying leave when necessary. . working hour 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday . Executive level and can claim OT. . Management is stable. . ull defenitely will learn a alot here. its great for you expirence. . its good if you want for settle.
The challenges. Strict system that can make you confuse, are we in school system or something but it works in developing self discipline. . very micromanage. They would never wholly trust your work. But this really do skip a lot of error before the hustle. . the task make you think why they pay so little. want to resign but too selesa in your comfort zone. . low increment.

Cons more than Pros, Not Recommended to Work Here.
The good things- Near MRT station - Helpful colleagues - Good for fresh grads to learn the pharma industry's operation but they need you to catch up faster - Meal allowance provided - Work life balance - No politic
The challenges- A poor working environment such as a stagnant atmosphere, hinders self-motivation. - Many Management Level - The management is not open-minded; although they encourage employees to provide suggestions, they often reject proposals, especially those stemming from the new generation with innovative ideas. - The inability to modernize, working methods from the 60s and 70s, involves excessive paperwork and a lack of environmentally friendly practices. - The organization is risk-averse. - The mindset of the top management in my division is peculiar. - Communication is minimal and responsibility tends to be passed around when seeking assistance from someone. - Benefits and salary are not competitive when compared to other companies. - Use outdated system and sometimes have system error and hardware maintenance, and affecting the effective workflow. - Only managers have laptop use, executives use pc. - Low leadership style.

    Good Learning Experience
The good thingsYou will learn a lot of things based on which team you allocated. In terms of benefit is better than average, 1 month bonus, medical claim and insurance.
The challengesLimited parking space. You have to park very far and the parking lot in the building only for bosses. Cannot double park. In term of workload it is too much and maybe need to overtime to finished work, but again it depend on which team you join. The pace is also very fast, the task keep coming and keep coming.

    Depends who you work with
The good things1. Near MRT Station & Hero Market. 2. Comfortable working environment. 3. Certain colleagues are friendly, remember just only certain. 4. Welcome fresh grad for learning new technique & the JUNGLE game. 5. Strongly recommend to the person of who looking for non-overtime culture.
The challenges1. Too much S.O.P, felt like back to high school. 2. Complex communication relationship。 3. The relationship between the departments is delicate, quarreling if you take a wrong step. 4. Backup yourself with all black & white record or transcription as evidence . There are no weapons except rumor.

    Welcome Back To School Life
The good thingsContractual bonus , Incentive & salary pay on time and is a stable company if you wants a retire life.
The challengesTypical China Man company which boss is always right. No RIGHT to say NO beyond working hour. Very controlling environment which manage the employees like primary & secondary school student. Very old style on working pattern which is a lot of manual works like paper works & hand writing works. Not appreciate employees which employees is not a valuable assets . Employees will become regress in the current market under this kind of old style management skill.

The challenges1. Too much of paperwork and documentation. 2. Low appreciation for graphic designers. 3. Old-timers hardly accept new and creative ideas. 4. Can be quite stressful
The good thingsGood place for people who like very structured work environment. There is a SOP for almost everything.
The challengesVery top-down management style. Various departments don't always co-operate and prefer to work in a silo. Very paperwork heavy. You'll feel like you're back in school with all the rules.

Great if you are looking for experience
The good thingsI work in R&D AR department, all of my bosses are very good people, making its easier to work under them. I learnt a lot while being here, all the necessary skills i need to survive in Pharm. Industry. The testing were never ending, and there are pile of documents to fill and update but still i think that way, we learn a lot about managing time and in the same time, learn the testing method. The basic were on the low side for me, but YSP gave a lot of benefits throughout the year so it should cover that and they paid for OT as well so no worries. Since YSP is a strict company and GMP compliant, you can learn how to adapt and familiar yourself with gmp requirement.
The challengesYSP produce a lot of products throughout the year so the testing conducted will never end it will stress you out if u cant handle your time properly. The salary is not as high as other company.

Definitely great experience for fresh grad
The good thingsSOP is bible, good to have it to save your work life and must familiarise before anything else. Opportunity for career development is for those who are prepared and with positive mentality. Hard work will be paid/ seen on incentives.
The challengesOverall, 60's or 70's management skills do not work on new generations anymore, especially HR (benefits and perks) is the nightmare.
