What’s it like working at Concentrix?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees appreciate the convenient location of the Concentrix office, which is near public transport and surrounded by many food options and convenience stores. Many highlight the positive team environment, noting that colleagues are supportive and often become like family. The company provides training and learning opportunities, and organises employee engagement activities such as games and events, creating a happy and energetic atmosphere. Some employees also value the generous annual leave of 30 days.

However, there are some potential challenges. Several employees indicate that management and leadership could be improved, with some noting a lack of support and professionalism from supervisors. Work-life balance can be challenging due to long hours and high workload. Many employees feel that salary and benefits could be better, with concerns about low pay, minimal increments, and the absence of annual bonuses for some projects. Workplace policies can be quite strict, including restrictions on personal items and difficulty in taking leave. Career advancement can be slow, and some employees mention limited promotion opportunities. Additionally, facilities and IT resources could be improved, with slow computers and limited parking options.

Toxic workplace with poor management, no work-life balance, low salary, and zero concern.
The good thingsThe only positive aspect of this workplace is its location, as it is conveniently surrounded by many food stalls and restaurants, making it easier for employees to find meals during breaks. Other than that, there was very little to appreciate about the overall working experience.
The challengesLeadership and management were extremely poor, unsupportive, and highly unprofessional. There was no work-life balance, and employees were constantly pressured, overworked, mentally exhausted, and burnt out. Even when staff were genuinely sick, management questioned medical leave (MC) and pushed employees to work. Taking leave was also unnecessarily difficult. Management and HR failed to support employees and cared more about clients than staff welfare and safety. The workplace culture was toxic, stressful, and lacked empathy. Employees were not allowed to bring phones onto the production floor, making communication during family emergencies impossible. There was also little respect for Muslim employees, including poor accommodation for Friday prayers. The salary was extremely low and below market rate considering the workload and pressure. Overall, this was a toxic and unhealthy workplace, and I would strongly advise others to avoid working here.

TOTALLY NOT RECOMMENDED TO WORK AT THIS COMPANY.
The good thingsThe training was great. Location wise very good as there're lots of restaurants nearby. Easily find foods & drinks as well as banks. There're also convenience stores close to the work place.
The challengesLeadership & management were very poor. No work-life balance. Very stressful & burnt out. Not even consider when people is sick. The leader questioning about the sick leave (MC) & asked people to come to work although you're sick. Very difficult to take leave (off day). Security measure is very tight as you cannot bring the phone on the production floor which make you isolated from the real world. If something happen to your family also you wouldn't know. No flexibility in terms of praying for Muslims. They not giving an exception for Muslims to perform Friday prayer which is not tolarable. Have to work longer hours. The salary was underpaid. Toxic working culture & environment. During Ramadhan, some of the Muslims regardless of their gender, publicly eating & drinking which is not respectful to those who are fasting. Leader was not doing the right thing.
