Ever Delicious Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. began in 1992 as a small cookie shop in Johor and started exporting to Hong Kong in 1993. Officially incorporated in 1994, the company expanded rapidly and obtained Halal certification in 1995. Despite the 1998 Asian Financial Crisis, the business continued growing internationally with support from MATRADE. From 2001 onwards, the company achieved multiple certifications including ISO, HACCP, GMP, Halal, FSSC 22000, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001. Today, operating from its Melaka manufacturing facility, Ever Delicious continues driving innovation, sustainability, and Lean Management excellence.

The company has poor management with harsh treatment and is not suitable for long-term employment.

The good thingsNothing to describe about good things

The challengesPoor management with frequent harsh treatment from family bosses and lack of proper guidance. Serious safety issues due to compulsory night overtime and being required to work alone in production with foreign workers. Low salary and not recommended for long-term employment.

Very, very bad management

The good things1) Nice local colleagues, who are all struggling to survive. 2) High salary only because of OT

The challengesIrregular working hours, not fixed shifts. Very exhausted due to high QC turnover. Need to cover other areas during long working hours (follow prod time). OT is a must. Also responsible for tasks outside from on-line inspection. Many bosses (family business). Different instructions from diff people.
