Good place to start, but limited growth, low pay, and inconsistent leadership
The good thingsThe benefits are fairly standard and acceptable for a starting role. The workload is generally manageable and not extreme. Some leaders are helpful and supportive, depending on the team and project. Hybrid working arrangements are available based on project requirements. Counseling services are provided and can be beneficial. Overall, this is a suitable place for fresh graduates or individuals at the early stage of their career to gain working experience.
The challengesThe main challenges relate to career progression, compensation, and consistency in management quality. Career growth can be limited, with promotions often perceived as difficult to achieve despite consistent performance. Compensation is another concern, as base salaries are below market levels and annual increments tend to be minimal, which may affect long term motivation and retention. There are also inconsistencies in leadership capability across teams, which can result in uneven guidance and support for employees. In some cases, communication and responsiveness from support functions such as HR could be improved, as follow ups are sometimes required to receive updates. Additionally, greater engagement from management at the ground level could help provide better visibility into employee concerns and improve overall trust and workplace experience.

    Genpact 3 month notice period
The good thingsWork is flexible. Only 2 days work from office.
The challengesWhen you submit tender, they are the one who calculate your balance leave and since they want to save cost, they not allow us to encash the leave and need to utilise all the leave. But then when received salary, payslip stated we overutilised our leave and deduct it thru salary.

To avoid joining Genpact in order to have better mental health, better work knowledge & experience. High pay not worth if trigger anxiety & created hatred. High turnover in just less than 4 months.
The good thingsOpportunity to meet really good colleague from South East Asian region & indeed good pay.
The challengesMicromanage, ridiculous deadlines, ridiculous KPI & ridiculous expectations. Unhealthy competition between colleague due to pressures from foreign team lead & too paranoid with customers' expections. Some market are really helpful & understandable. Some market has tedency to give unnecessary presurres due to their typical working culture.

Avoid joining if you’re looking for fair pay, supportive leadership, or proper management — the environment lacks employee protection, and you're largely left on your own.
The good thingsSupportive colleagues and team environment. The hybrid working arrangement provides flexibility and better work-life balance.
The challengesHR and management can be very unstructured and inconsistent. Genpact’s overall management lacks alignment — each account operates with its own style, leading to confusion. What is promised during the interview or offer stage (e.g., job scope, responsibilities) may differ significantly once you start working on the account. Client demands override internal processes, and there's often little to no support from the internal account team. The role may require excessive multitasking, and in some cases, there’s no actual procurement involvement despite the title. You are expected to follow whatever the client instructs, with limited internal protection or guidance.

Is good for career advancement but not for long term employment.
The good thingsPay is fair. Entry are easy if you the talent needs for the job scope they want.
The challengesThis company have multiple account and act all different base on client requirement. Therefore, whatever client requested, you required to performed and outstanding it. Client always put outrageous and inconsistent demand beyond work capabilities. Too much reporting. Uncontrol request. Turnover high

career advancement is good if you are servicing the preferred client and have good relationship with top management
The good thingsyou could learn different scopes of financial and accounting, which is good for starters and job rotation is quite fast and easy if you are capable. if you join a good team with good teammates & boss, then it is good.
The challenges- do not expect good benefits here - it is a bpo - worst/biased top management - clients first, employee last - office politic is a must if you join certain team - good luck - be prepared to be squeezed - office space + workload
