A mixed experience with supportive colleagues but outdated facilities and rigid policies.
The good thingsSupportive and open-minded team with good communication. My immediate colleagues were always helpful, which made the working experience more pleasant despite the challenges.
The challenges1. Office facilities need improvement. No Wi-Fi access and staff rely on LAN connections, which feels inconvenient and outdated. Some laptops even have expired Windows licenses, forcing the use of browser-based Teams and Outlook, significantly affects productivity and gives the impression that basic infrastructure is not a priority. Some areas still have old office furniture, but luckily my team was based in the newer wing, which is much better. 2. Minimal staff engagement, no sports club/internal activities to foster connection. Occasionally, there are themed dress days (e.g., wear green or brown) that don’t seem tied to any event or clear purpose. If the aim is to promote more eco friendly culture, going digital would make far more sense. 3. Employees are required to return their lanyards upon exit, although this wasn’t stated in the exit checklist (only mentioned access card). It’s unexpected and I even had to pay for it, which reflects the company’s unnecessarily rigid policies.

Company requires stronger Leadership, Modernisation and cultural change to create a workplace that it truly competitive and supportive among the staff.
The good thingsReport to Good Manager. No very Toxic in my department. Balance Life
The challengesThe group's internal systems are still far behind compared to other FI. Modernization and digital transformation are urgently needed. A rather static Management level has resulted in weak staff motivation and value creation. This makes it difficult for the company to drive competitiveness with other FIs. Most of staff demonstrate a more self-centered approach, which limits collaboration & progress. Senior Staff (especially HR) often avoid heavier responsibilities. Hard communicate with HR Team.
