The Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation (KDSF) is a non-profit organization committed to the welfare of children with Down Syndrome. Its main focus is the education of these children who are from 2 months to 6 years old. KDSF has 5 Down Syndrome Centres in parts of Malaysia which implement the Early Intervention Programme (EIP), a special curriculum which emphasizes the development of gross motor, fine motor, speech and language, social, perceptual-cognitive and pre-academic skills.The Centre is run like an ordinary kindergarten with the usual kindergarten activities such as biennial Sports/ Concerts, annual Graduation, social and educational visits.
