In 2017, a group of parents, who were concerned about Malaysians' hesitation to adapt to the 21st century education system formed a team that was determined to revamp the Malaysian education system for their children, and LUCA was born in the same year. As LUCA was new at the time, the team had to work around the clock to collect information and data, figure it out, and come up with a plan that would greatly benefit the students.Through perseverance to understand education, the team came to realize that "Education is life impact life" and that learning is a lifelong process.Cambridge IGCSE serves as the basis for LUCA's educational curriculum. In the meantime, we are working toward our goals by putting our "LUCA Values" into practice, as LUCA provides much more than simply a standard academic curriculum.LUCA invests a lot of energy in supporting its teachers to deliver the 21st century learning skills, ultimately striving to nurture students with the 4C’s (Critical thinking, Communication, Collaboration and Creativity) through application of 12 Learning Core Competencies and 13 Subject Thinking.LUCA prides itself on high academic standards, however we are more than this. We take to -Truly life impact life education- which is about developing a passion for lifelong learning and capability for critical thinking.
