Staff also value the opportunities to learn and gain experience, particularly for those early in their careers, and note that the facilities and working environment are well-maintained.

However, there are some potential challenges, including lower salaries and limited benefits such as bonuses and medical claims. Employees report high workloads with multiple responsibilities and expectations to work beyond regular hours, including weekends and holidays. If you have another option, don’t choose Mahsa University or you’ll regret it.
The good thingsThe only positive aspect was the friendships I built with colleagues and the connection with students.
The challengesAlmost everything else was a challenge — poor management, excessive micromanagement, very low salary, no benefits or perks, no flexibility at work, strict clock-in and clock-out system, difficulty getting approval to leave the office, and an overall culture where staff are treated like students rather than professionals, and even situations where security and HR can shout at lecturers with no respect at all.
