Since its inception in 1998, Mavisco (M) Sdn. Bhd. (Mavisco) has grown from strength to strength. From a one-man shop, Mavisco is today one of the distributors of Fuji Xerox Printers (FXP), one of the world's leading brands in the printer business in Malaysia.Mavisco is principally engaged in trading of printers and provision of after-sales service maintenance. In trading, the company focuses only on one core product, i.e. printers and its ancillary consumables and supplies. It also chooses to distribute only one brand --i.e. Fuji Xerox's range of printers and consumables - and provides maintenance service in support of Fuji Xerox' under contract. Mavisco is unique in that it is possible the only trading company in Malaysia who survives by focussing only on one product and one brand name.Mavisco is at heart a business-to-business company. It chooses to deal only with dealers and not directly with end-users. If the company knows of a requirement from an end-user in its dealing, it will engage a dealer in the transaction to ensure that its dealers enjoy the benefits of being part of its channels network without the threat of being undercut by the principal. The company will deal directly with end users in the case of service and maintenance and where no preferred dealer is involved.
