What’s it like working at Ms. Read?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Ms. Read appreciate the supportive and friendly colleagues across departments, as well as the approachable and non-micromanaging management that focuses on end results. The company offers flexible working arrangements, including the ability to work from home, and provides opportunities for learning and growth through proper training and development programs. Employees also value the diverse and inclusive culture at Ms. Read.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as a generation gap in the traditional work culture for some individuals, and a need for improved benefits, particularly initially. Employees may need to work outside their job scope or work extra hours during peak seasons, which can be challenging. Some employees feel that the salary needs to be revised to better align with the workload, and strong time management skills are required to handle the fast-paced environment. There is also room for improvement in communication between departments, and employees have noted a lack of parking facilities.

The good thingsThe first thing I like the most about the company culture is the very supportive and hands-on higher management. They are approachable and perceive every viewpoint voiced out by us. Even if we don't hold a high level of employment. I enjoyed working here as we also get the opportunity to join activities arranged by the company.
The challengesSome HOD need to learn how to be a hands-on employee as well.
