    Good as a stepping stone, but not as a place to learn and challenge yourself. The days where Polar volume is high is over. Hence they are now just surviving on few projects. Yes it is sometimes relaxing, but you wont get much growth here.
    The good thingsCan be your everyday usual 8:30am to 5:30pm routine. Rarely need to be on standby during weekends. Very friendly technicians and operators. The director is actually approachable and friendly however you rarely interact with him.
    The challengesPeople leave bad managers. No coaching, no value added official training. How are you suppose to work if your manager behave like "I know what to do, but I wont tell you" and he never tell you until the end (machine breakdown).

    Polar Electro Malaysia, though a subsidiary of a Finnish company, is managed locally by Malaysian Chinese leadership. The management style is very traditional and hierarchical. The Managing Director (MD) prefers to maintain full control, and there is little room for open communication or constructive feedback. Employees who raise concerns or complaints—even valid ones—often face serious consequences, including termination. This creates a fearful environment where staff avoid speaking up. Office politics are strong, and career growth seems to favor those who align personally with the MD rather than based on merit or capability. While some may thrive in this kind of environment, it may not be suitable for individuals who value fairness, transparency, or innovation.
