Popularity of the product in the market gained swift share and on November 1st, 1971, Universal Fruit Juice Manufacturers Sdn Bhd was incorporated to assume the business operations.Having successfully established ourselves as a trusted name in the cordials arena, we diversified our operations to include other products. Focusing our priorities on recognizing the needs and wants of the consumer led to our venturing into producing natural fruit juice concentrates in 1992. Marketed under the brand name Sun Up, the initial range of fruit juice concentrates produced were orange, blackcurrant and mango. Positioned as being a premium, natural and nutritious bottled juice concentrate the brand quickly gained market share and the mango juice concentrate eventually became the market leader in Malaysia.To better reflect our future direction, and mission to supply nutritional products of the highest quality to discerning consumers, the company changed its name to Universal NutriBeverage Sdn Bhd on November 1st, 1997.By 1999, Universal NutriBeverage Sdn. Bhd. and its related companies were recording a turnover of over RM 10 million of which 30% was derived from the export market.to-drink juices that are of premium quality.
