Tasks and duties

• Greeting customers and providing guidance on finding products they need.
• Assisting shoppers with selecting products, answering queries and providing product recommendations.
• Handling sales transactions at the cash register, including cash, card or digital payments.
• Maintaining the appearance of the store, ensuring it is clean, tidy and products are well-organised.
• Checking product stock levels and helping with restocking activities when necessary.
• Managing customer complaints or forwarding complex issues to the store manager.
• Promoting store sales or loyalty programs to customers.
