Dishonest and ugly approach to drive sales.
The good thingsI've enjoyed upgrading my knowledge in terms of healthcare. Thus, I'll recommend others to work here.
The challengesI dislike how toxic and negative the work environment has become in order to achieve sales target and all the other target. I understand it's a retail pharmacy. However I did not expect it to be very much 'RETAIL' to the core. It's a pharmacy, part of the health care system. Not some clothing or goods kind of retail. We're talking medicine, supplement (it's something that most people buy because they NEED to, not because they WANT to. There should be honesty and empathy also a limit to what extend does 'RETAIL' entails.

Moderate positive. Enjoyed the environment & recognition though internal politics made it less ideal
The good thingsCommissions I really enjoyed the sales aspect, being young and new didn’t stop me from going all out to achieve great results in my sales. The company recognized my communication skills and even sent me to Penang as a brand representative for a health fair, which was a great experience. The HR team and upper management were also genuinely supportive and pleasant to work with
The challengesPolitics Unfortunately, theres quite a bit of internal politics and too many layers of management (branch managers, area managers, and so on) While some were great to work with, my overall experience was affected by an intern pharmacist who was acting as the branch PIC. Certain misunderstandings led to issues being escalated to the area manager, which resulted in my probation being extended, an outcome that felt rather discouraging and unfair

Please consider other pharmacy if you have other options
The good thingsNothing. They don't even deserve one star
The challengesPerformance evaluation based on sales only. Working here make it difficult to maintaining pharmacy ethics. Unethical selling. The bosses can be very toxic. No work life balance. Stingy boss. A lot of tedious tasks to handle. Meeting or training during your off days without getting OT.

Overall good working environment but the pay is low and management is not great.
The good thingsGood environment, most coworkers are highly collaborative.
The challengesSome coworkers are not collaborative and are difficult to deal with. Management is not great, they are never on your side.

Burnout due to heavy workload and high expectations. Think twice to join.
The good thingsGiven higher commission than other companies.
The challengesMany different kind of challenge or contest or program created, to increase sales. Cultivated toxic culture that comparing sales between colleagues, make the working environment uncomfortable to work in. Sometimes argument or conflict may arise due to the mere incentives. SOP change very frequently, which arise many confusions. High expectations and stress loaded on operation team, not only backend tasks and sales, but also trainings to fulfil training hours and pharmacist assessment to go through every 2 to 3 monthly. Need to settle tasks or answer calls even on off day. Definitely not a work life balance place. Highly not recommended to join.

Choose other pharmacies while you have options.
The good thingsUsed to be commission rate, but they keep cutting it down over the time. So I can't think of any at the moment. Salary is average, not as high as advertised.
The challengesSales target is raised despite the old target has never achieved. Team struggled to drive sales and once the management noticed a little bit of growth, they will raise the target while we are still far from the old target. To be honest, the reward is not much after shared among the team. Somehow, this action makes the company very stingy to reward rm100 or less as a monthly reward for each team member. Funny.

    Stressful and no worklife balance
The good thingsPay is above average in the market. Given commission. The more u promote their house brand products, the more u earned.
The challengesSuper stressful with all sorts of KPI. Sales target is high, upper management also micromanage their staffs to ensure the targets are achieved. Staffs need to work under great stress with many unnecessary KPIs. Comparing sales and commission causing working environment is quite toxic. Shortage of manpower problem is always an issue in the shop and need to juggle with many workloads. Now even implementing assessment for pharmacists almost once monthly, u need to attend training every week and CME and product training on your off day, coz all these assessment and training u joined is part of your KPI. Off day is nvr off day, need to settle tasks at home.

Stressful in making sales and pushing own products
The good thingsSalary and get more commission if you work hard, but also depends if your outlet customer count.
The challengesA lot of stress from upper management to hit sales target and convert products. Negative culture of comparing commissions and sell out, good for competitiveness but not for me. Working hours very long and tiring. Schedule based on PIC and if they're not nice, they will always give themselves better shifts eg morning shifts and give you mostly the night shifts. Hard to get annual leave because nobody to cover. Lack of staffs, require to OT and cover other outlet on offdays, staffs keep resigning not enough to handle customer load. Many promotions and updating of SOP from marketing, merchandising side that is unclear and alot of mistakes and end up we getting scolded by customers. SOP very unclear and keep changing. All based on own judgement.

Promote competition instead of work-life balance
The good thingsNone that I can think of. If really need to share one, perhaps it's the location slightly nearer to my house
The challengesSmall groups. Company focuses too much on expansion. Employees are expected to work long hour, new hire will get overwhelmed without the resources and support to adapt into the role

Lawless Sales Commission Culture, Bad Management
The good thingsNone. No work-life balance. Average salary but expecting you to sacrifice your off hours for work training. No space for career advancement.
The challengesIntroduced the sales commission culture, but did not set up proper rules to guide staffs. Always promoting competitions between staffs. Allowing promoters to compete with staffs for sales. Expecting floor staffs to perform all tasks.

The good thingsCan learn a lot of things, including customer service, admin and leadership. Everyone have the chance to handle all task in the outlet. Good for fresh graduates who are seeking for experience. Will get more incentives and bonus depends on outlet sales and individual sales skills.
The challengesWorkloads keep increasing everyday especially after the pandemic. You are expected to multitask but at the same time practicing "customer first" with limited number of staffs.

    Lots of strict rule. Busy.
The good thingsSalary a cut above others, but yet, it comes in a price.
The challengesReminder for those who work for short term, their HR will strictly require you to serve one month before resignation, no excuse (continue internship etc.) is accepted. Thus, it is very not flexible. Consider this before you sign the agreement.

    Stressful but you need money
The good thingsBasic plus commission makes the salary higher than other company. Basic salary a bit higher compare to others. Commission easy to get. Got yearly bonus. Sales target bonus. Training provided Attendance allowance. Gas allowance Free medicine and checks up when using apps.
The challengesStressful. Monthly sales target pretty high. Difference manager, different ways. They don't really back up their staffs even when the customers is wrong as staff is replaceable but not customer. You can be good in sales but you still replaceable, working hour a bit hectic, depends on outlet. Competitive environment
