Creative Flavors, Great Burgers and even Better Service. These are the tenets that have driven myBurgerLab since our inception in 2012.Inspired by brands such as In-N-Out Tribute and Shake Shack, we were driven to re-create the experience back home in Malaysia. We knew that it would take more than just great food to make a difference in the Malaysian F&B scene, we also had to leave a lasting impression on our guests too. Which is why, at myBurgerLab, our greatest commodity, is our people. Whether it's the guests that walk in to the labs, or our very own 'Geeks' that work hard on a daily basis to churn out awesome burgers, myBurgerLab wouldn't be where it is today without them. Our team comprises mainly of youths, many of them working part-time while studying to earn some extra money and learn new skills. Despite that, we also do our best to be a platform for young graduates to grow themselves, and level up themselves to better prepare themselves for the working world. What's it like working at myBurgerLab? It's fast-paced, and it's busy. But we promise, for the most part, we have tons of fun, and awesome burgers while we're at it.

myBurgerLab offers a structured working environment with comprehensive SOPs and training systems that provide clear guidance to staff. Employees appreciate the regular feedback and support from management, as well as the fun-loving atmosphere and positive culture at the branch level.

MyBurgerlab Should Pay Their Workers Better
The good thingsgood SOPs for everything, you don't have to worry about the training aspect. everything is in black and white as well, which is great.
The challengesthe fact that everything is black and white means there is less chance for flexibility. the pay is lesser than a lot of the cafes out there, while you as a geek have to learn skills not just in the kitchen (back of house), but in the front of house as well. also they always force you to recite their pledge before and after work. the after work debriefing is not counted in your working hours and it sometimes can take more than half an hour if something bad happened in your shift.

Exposure to work under pressure and grow both professionally and personally
The good thingsEmployers are always available to guide as well as after each shift there would be a short feedback session in order to point out mistakes done and how to improve on them. Not only that, they are passionate in what they do and always provide motivation.
The challengesI would say that the challenges that I have come across are what you would expect in the food and beverage industry as customers should get what they are paying which is good quality food and service. Therefore, working in a fast but measured manner is what I had to adapt myself to.
