This company offers stability, good medical benefits, and claimable expenses such as mobile phone bills and travel costs. There is a potential path for career progression, although this can depend heavily on management and the department. However, office politics can play a role in career advancement, with new hires sometimes moving into higher positions faster than long-serving employees. There is also a reluctance among some staff to adopt new technologies or modern ways of working, with a tendency to stick to established methods regardless of their efficiency.
The good thingsI would say this company offers stability, along with good medical benefits and claimable expenses such as mobile phone bills and travel costs. There is also a clear path for career progression to higher positions, although this can depend on the management and, in some cases, the specific department.
The challengesThere’s always an element of office politics in a place like this, and it can sometimes overshadow merit and actual performance. One noticeable issue is the tendency for newly joined employees to move quickly into higher positions, while loyal and long-serving staff often remain in the same roles for years without recognition or promotion. This can be discouraging and may lead to frustration among those who have dedicated a significant part of their careers to the company. Another challenge is the overall resistance to change, particularly when it comes to adopting new technology or more efficient, modern ways of working. Many employees prefer to stick to traditional methods, not because they have been proven to be the best, but simply because “this is how it’s always been done.” Unfortunately, there’s also a tendency for some to believe their current way of working is always correct, which leaves little room for improvement or fresh ideas.
