Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is a well founded and proven method to treat children with ASD. It is in fact the most recognised therapy for the treatment of ASD. The use of ABA to treat Autism is not something that is learnt in a few days. It is a specialised field of Clinical Psychology and takes many years to master. It should not be taken lightly and therefore require experts to teach and provide therapy to children with ASD. Like a specialised medical practice, this kind of setup has to be run by highly trained professionals.Autism Link Malaysia was conceived in mid 2008 as an answer to uplift the standard of treatment and care given to children with ASD in the country. Its mission was to set up a complete eco-system for children afflicted with ASD. To achieve this our stand was to ensure nothing but the best ABA treatment for children with ASD. In order to springboard our quality of service, Autism Link Malaysia partnered with Autism Partnership International, a world renowned and leading centre for the treatment of ASD using ABA. Its founders are among the leaders in the field of research and development in ABA for the treatment of autism. We opened our centre in the last quarter of 2009. Our centre is run by a team of dedicated and qualified psychologists. Currently, we are the only centre in the country that has a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is physically present to support and supervise the team. We are proud to say that enrolment has been great so far with a very high retention rate. We are indeed proud to claim leadership in the country to offer ABA treatment for children with ASD. Most of all, the progress of the children given therapy in our centre has been nothing short of being encouraging and positive. Enrolment in fact is always full and we are looking to set up another centre within the Klang Valley.

The good thingsThe colleague is so nice, calm and they very supportive
The challengesthere are ups and downs working here, especially when you work with kids. Sometimes you feel less appreciated because you will feel the supervisors less appreciating you. The pay is too low, and your benefits are not much compared to the workload you need to handle in this position.
