if you not married yet and you are in this bank , you are still lucky , leave now , you only live once .
The good thingsno commission . but basic pay is acceptable
The challengeswork life balance 404 error not found . never listen employees opinion , those high pay management role at hq only care about themselves and giving unrealistic kpi for branches plus micro management from the superior , the staff turnover rate is high and they are highly lack of staff right now , so meaning existing staff will have more burden to cover up the short fall

I come from a public finance background, and after the 2003 merger I had to quickly adapt, performing with efficiency and accuracy in a challenging, highly demanding culture. I developed a phobia of PBB’s management culture, where the better you perform, the more is demanded — with sacrifices of time, energy, and workload — leaving me constantly drained. In my 30+ years of work, the best culture I experienced was during my time in finance; however, as I ranked up, my responsibilities and workload only kept increasing without ever easing.I felt that the faster and more efficiently I performed, the more demands kept coming back to me.
    The good thingsStaff benefits good.
The challengesOnce you rank up to officer level, which means being part of the management team, we were not encouraged to claim OT but were instead paid a bonus. This was actually meant to compensate for the sacrifice of not claiming OT. Therefore, the so-called year-end bonus doesn’t really feel like a bonus.

Good in salary, but no work life balance. Think twice, if you don’t care about having little to no personal life, then you may go for it.

Due to stable system, creativity is highly discouraged. Fresh graduate who thinking to contribute to the society may opt for another choice, what you may required to do is just use back the existing idea from your senior and maintain (reuse)
The good thingsGood Benefits, suitable for old people
    The challengesNot encouraging creativity

Fresh graduate dont come here, not worth your time. The outside world is more interesting.
The good thingsGood staff medical benefits and nice bonus. Mind you the outside world there is more interesting rather than stuck here in this old school organization just for the sake of money.
The challengesToxic management. Depends on which department/team you are selected into. Poor office setup for a high profit bank. Worst facilities for staff (pantry, toilet..) Need to have strong mental to work longer here especially with micromanage manager.

The good thingsStaff benefits, bonus for all staff
The challengesNot support work life balance contribute employee to work with stressful environment. Upper level management keep on pushing figure, even your target is achieved, they not satisfied enough. Working hours 8.45am to 5.45pm is not enough. Actual working hours is 7.30am until 10.00pm. The company still with traditional practices, still rely on paper based documentation and manual work, lack of automation in processing.
