Administration Support Officer
Dah apply macam-macam kerja selain admin, tapi asyik kena reject. Rasa macam majikan ni kalau nampak background admin je, terus tak pandang. Padahal admin buat banyak benda kot like multitasking, handle ops, liaise dengan orang, semua ada. Plus, I ada degree, bukan background i ni SPM or diploma. Itu pun susah nak dapat kerja. Actually memang susah eh nk switch dari admin ke bidang lain? Kalau tahu mcm ni awal2 dulu i tak accept kerja admin :(

Tough bila majikan nampak background admin je, macam terus putus harapan. But sebenarnya, a lot of companies value transferable skills macam problem-solving, communication, and organisation yang kita dapat from admin work. Mungkin you can try apply for roles that require those skills and explain in your cover letter how you can contribute, even if it's not directly related to admin.

I totally understand your frustration. Memang susah nak switch bidang, especially bila majikan nampak kita dari background admin je. But trust me, skills like multitasking, handling ops, and liaising with people are valuable, and many industries need those skills. You just need to highlight that experience dalam resume and interview, and show how it can benefit their company. Don’t give up, mungkin kena keep trying and tweak your application strategy
