Hi, is it normal for interviewers to ask about personal commitments such as our house rental amount, whether we have any personal loans, how much credit card debt we have, or what type of car we drive? It happened to me last month, and eventually it makes me a bit turn off to continue the interview session.

Need advice — job application call? I recently applied for a job and got a missed call from an unknown number (looks personal, not a company line). No voicemail, no info online, and the WhatsApp profile is blank. I don’t usually answer unknown calls, but I sent a polite text just in case. Now I’m worried — did I handle this wrong? Could I have hurt my chances? Has anyone dealt with this before?

Salam and hi! My interview is coming up but everytime pergi IV, i struggle dengan soalan ni. "Why should we hire you?" Macam mana nak jawab dengan penuh yakin tanpa rasa macam tengah oversell diri sendiri? Atau ada tak cara untuk tunjukkan kelebihan kita tapi still nampak humble? Kalau korang ada tips atau contoh jawapan yang pernah result in korang dapat job tu, please share! I selalu stuck nak jawab soalan ni sebab takut jawapan tak cukup kuat. 😅

I really want to sound polished and speak proper English during interviews, but I’m worried it might come off as fake or forced. 😬 I don't want to sound like I’m trying too hard, but at the same time, I feel like if I speak in Singlish, people might think I’m not professional enough. How do you strike the balance between speaking in proper, clear English without sounding like you’re putting on an accent or trying too hard? Any tips for sounding natural but still professional?

Hello. Just curious, if anyone can share opinion or view on this. Is it normal to ask HR what is the salary range prior to set the interview session, since nowadays companies tend to not put any salary range. This question raise up due to my concern on spending our time and leave just for attending the interview, however the salary range is not within our expected salary. Thank you all.
