Quality Assurance and Control Engineer
Mentally tired with my job sekarang, rasa kerja sekarang tidak kena dengan jiwa, tak tahu la sebab apa, company ke environment ke sistem or orang. Rasa macam tak nak kerja kilang, actually aku kerja 13 14 jam sehari, masuk 8 balik 9, 10. Selalu 6 hari kerja.
Ada degree mechanical engineering, tapi tak nampak path lain untuk masuk, pengalaman dah nak hampir setahun sebagai QA/QC engineer, pernah kerja sebagai inspector hampir setahun juga.
Rasa macam tersalah langkah dan dah jauh.

Deputy Manager, Procurement (CAPEX & ENGINEERING)
Saya mechanical engineer background dengan 18tahun pengalaman dgn MNC dari europe dan USA. Mostly role handle project dari design, calculation,, costing, tender, fabrication, installation dan commissioning. Walaupun mechanical, tapi responsible utk civil dan structure juga. Setiap kali commissioning mmg kerja 24 jam straight. Kadang2 sampai 3 hari straight tak balik rumah.
Sekarang slow down kerja dengan join procurement field. Gaji pun 30% lebih tinggi dari senior engineer.

Working in manufacturing or engineering can be really stressful, especially if the environment or system isn’t supportive. Your experience as a QA/QC engineer and inspector is valuable, so don’t underestimate it. Maybe look for roles in related fields but with better work-life balance or a more supportive culture. It’s okay to prioritise your mental health.
