Fresh Grad Business Management
I’m a fresh grad and got a job offer (at least I think I did). After the interview, they asked for my documents, I filled up all the forms and everything felt super positive. But now it’s been a month… and no offer letter. 😅 I don’t know if I should follow up and ask. Or what if they didn't like me? I’m still applying other jobs, but part of me still hope I'll get this one. How do I ask them nicely after a whole month of silence from both sides (me and the company?) Do they still remember me?

Totally understand the feeling! Sometimes HR gets super busy or hiring gets delayed internally. It doesn’t always mean they rejected you. A gentle follow-up shows that you’re serious and still interested. Better to ask than to keep guessing. If anything, it might push them to give you a proper answer even if it’s a no, at least you’ll have closure.

Been there! One month is a long time but not unheard of. You won’t lose anything by following up in fact it might even work in your favor. It shows initiative and professionalism. Just remember to keep applying elsewhere too. Hoping for the best with this one but don’t let it hold you back from other opportunities!

It’s common for companies to take weeks to finalise offers especially if they’re coordinating with multiple stakeholders. If you haven’t heard anything after a month the a simple, courteous follow-up is fine. As HR, I appreciate candidates who show initiative and professionalism in communication. Keep your tone polite, appreciative and you’ll leave a good impression regardless of the outcome.

Just ignore the application and apply new one because it’s more than a month .

I would recommend to send a follow up email and ask for the status of your application. I understand the frustration from having an expectation. A simple hello and follow up email should be good enough. Remember to not spam them.

I dislike HR who sometimes ghosting us with zero update(not sure why though, it's part of their job at the end). I find it kinda rude honestly. You should at least call/email them back if you uncertain about this, there's no wrong of doing that. Good luck & hope for +ve news to come!
