i really2 menyesal beli kereta jenama H masa baru2 start kerja. 😭 I actually nak beli Bezza tapi my family cakap takkan lah engineer pakai kereta local. Gaji pulak RM3.5k. Bulan2 baru RM1,000 i ingat still ada byk balance utk komitmen lain. But after dah start bayar, baru i rasa sakit. Service, roadtax, tayar botak..semua ni on me! Should I downgrade or just sell my car? if i choose to keep it, how do i manage my finance better? Btw, gaji i statik. I ingat akan naik tahun ni rupanya tak :(

Kalau i jadi you, kemungkinan besar i downgrade je kot kereta. You do the math lah. Kalau jual, tapi kena topap duit pulak dan you takde duit sebanyak itu, you pakai je la dulu. Tak pun, buat Grab dengan kereta tu. At least bayar bulan2 tu lepas la tekak. Kereta ni just nk get from point A to point B je..tak perlu pun pakai yg mahal2. Lesson learnt the hard way for you.

Next, teach yourself look at things in three different categories,
1. Must Have Needs - like basic food and a roof over your head
2. If Got Extra Money Can Have - like car or new clothing.
3. Luxury- like expensive branded clothing, shoes, car etc.
As much as possible only spend on item 1, 2 if really have to and 3 never.
I bought a 2nd hand car after 5 years working.

Siapa2 pemikiran baru start kerja dah kena pakai gah2 itu ini confirm dia x pernah kerja office, terutama skli tak memahami pendapatan gaji kerjaya pertama dlm linkungan fresh grads.. Jenis pemikiran kampungan tbh. Saudara sy yg pd harini owner kpd company yg gajinya tinggi pada mulanya dia hanya pakai kereta proton iswara berkarat years ago sebelum dia achieve his goal to have his own company. Walau dari univ. USA Massachussets kereta pertama dia adlh kereta berkarat. 10 yrs in now lamborghini

Memang bila beli kereta, nampak macam okay, but once you start bayar monthly, servis, roadtax, semua tu baru terasa. Kalau you rasa tak mampu nak handle, maybe downgrade kereta is a good idea. Alternatively, you can try buat Grab or delivery untuk cover monthly payment tu. In the meantime, try to budget and kurangkan expenses lain. Keep track of your spending and manage your finances better.
