Saya sekarang kena silent treatment dengan team sendiri. Semua bermula bila saya suggest cara baru nak improve workflow, tapi boss kata saya cabar authority dia. Lepas tu dia makin kurangkan kerja saya, cakap saya tak reti buat kerja, suruh tengok orang lain dulu. Sekarang team pun jauhkan diri sebab takut boss. HR pun diam je. Saya rasa boss memang tak suka saya. Apa patut saya buat utk ambil hati boss semula? Takkan nak berhenti kerja sebab ni je. Sayanglah sebab nk dpt keje susah😢

First, jangan isolate diri. Jangan biar silent treatment tu control narrative. Try engage dengan team satu-satu, bukan in group tuk tunjuk you’re still collaborative. Dengan boss, maybe minta one-on-one bukan nak argue tapi tanya apa dia expect dari you. Kadang boss insecure bila staff nampak lebih capable. Kalau semua usaha tak jalan and HR still ignore, at least you tried. Then you can start plan exit strategy without regret.

It sounds like you were trying to contribute positively and it’s painful when that’s misunderstood. Your feelings are valid, being iced out by both your boss and your team can feel incredibly isolating. Instead of focusing on ‘ambil hati’ boss, maybe shift the focus to building a safe space for dialogue. Would it help to ask for a calm, honest one-on-one conversation just to understand each other better? You don’t have to face this alone, you deserve support.

Maybe now just take a small step back, ikut dulu cara dia sementara masa tenangkan keadaan. Slowly tunjuk yang you still boleh cooperate and respect his way. Bila boss dah nampak you bukan lawan, baru dia akan lembut balik. Dengan team pula, jangan ambil hati kalau mereka jauhkan diri, most of them takut effect pada diri sendiri, bukan sebab mereka tak suka you. Just keep doing your work calmly, and treat everyone nicely macam biasa.
