Senior Software Engineer - Consultant Project Engineer
Hello semua! I have been trying to get into the IT field in Malaysia as an expat. I have 4+ years of experience in Healthcare IT and Project Management.
Been using JobStreet, LinkedIn, career portals for about 2 years now and must have applied for more than 1k positions since then but no avail, my profile and resume gets viewed but no action after that. Not a single callback or email citing any interest from the employers. It's frustrating, is it possible to get hired or should I give up?

An HR reached out some time back and told me 75% of the jobs are reserved for Malaysians and rest need to be sent to the government for them to approve in order to hire an expat. Is it true? This puts me in a serious disadvantage
