Assistant Store Manager
Salam Ramadan everyone! Sy nk mintak pendapat. Sy dpt offer kerja baru dengan increment 15% more from my current salary but prob is, kena downgrade position. Currently sy AM, position baru is senior exec. Sy tak sure whether it's a good idea to downgrade sebab sy takut kalau nk jump lagi lepas ni, sy dah tak boleh apply higher position like manager/team leader. But salary-wise, sy sangat lah tergoda utk accept. Lagipun kerja tu only 10 mins away from my house. Patut ke sy terima? TQ all!

A salary hike and work place only 10 mins away are enough reasons for me to jump personally. Also, being in a Sr Exec role doesn't necessarily mean you cant jump to a managerial role. You already have AM exp anyways. If you believe that you are good, you'll have no problem getting a managerial role.

Hello! From my experience, i think if your goal is to climb the corporate ladder, it's best to just stick to your current position. For me, position matters sebab i pernah as an exec nk apply kerja as senior exec (with 3 years of working experience) pun susah sgt2 nk dpt. End up dpt keje exec jugak. I naik pangkat as senior baru senang nk dpt kerja level lain. Unless increment tu is very big like 30% and above, then x payah la..

Hi, for me position is not the matters but the benefits on that company is exactly that u should've consider. the benefits i meant are inc ur (salary,allowance,bonus,medical card,panel and etc). position held are not the priority but it is the benefits on that company offered and ur financial should be prioritise. hehe just my2cents.

gaji naik 15% tu memang sedap lah. Plus, kerja dekat rumah, best tu. Tapi, I faham, risau kalau nanti susah nak naik pangkat. I think, kalau sekarang you nak gaji lebih dan tak kisah downgrading for now, it could be a good move. But if long-term career growth is more important to you, maybe think about it a bit more. No rush, just make sure it aligns with your goals.

Financial Planning Role
Position does not matter. Most important is your work experiences beside the obvious which is salary-wise.
Different company has different definition of the title. Perhaps senior executive in a new company has broader work requirement than current company.

Pertama sekali..kalau sayang jawatan.. bagitau boss yg awk nak berhenti sebab ada opportunity lain.. bagitau increment 15%..utk kes saya.. boss terus counter offer +20% & + sebijik kereta.. kalau awk fikir 10 minit dari rumah saja.. tak le buat ape la.. boss pon xle nak counter ape kecuali bagi duit minyak lebih skit..
