Fresh Graduate
Hi, fresh grad here looking for advice! 👋 I'm planning to open my first savings account and maybe apply for a credit card to start building my financial profile. Which financial institution in Malaysia is the most supportive of fresh grads? 🏦 Any banks with good benefits, low fees, or beginner-friendly options? Also, if anyone has tips on managing finances as a newbie, I'd really appreciate it! 😊

Congrats on taking the first step! For fresh grads, Maybank, CIMB, and Public Bank are pretty solid choices with low fees and simple savings accounts. For a credit card, HSBC or RHB have cards designed for beginners. As for managing money, try to set a budget, track your spending, and save even just a small amount every month. The key is consistency!

Nice, you’re on the right track! Bank Islam, Citi, and Maybank are all good for savings accounts with low fees and no hassle. If you’re looking for a credit card, RHB or Standard Chartered might be good options, they’ve got cards with low fees and some rewards. For managing finances, just start by keeping track of where your money goes and try to save a little bit each month. It’ll add up over time
