hi! i really want good advice on my problem, hope someone can reply🥹 yesterday i got a call from a recruiter of company that i want to join. and they offer me a lot of benefits and the work descriptions itself is also align with my current experience. but the obstacle is, my current company has 3 months resign notice and the company i wanted to join want to hire people quick so they can give me 2 weeks to consider. as for my 3 months notice, it was never stated in my agreement or offer letter

Hi! Congrats on the offer, that’s exciting. Since your 3-month notice isn’t in your agreement, it’s not a strict requirement, but it’s good to handle it professionally. You can try asking your current employer to shorten the notice and explain the situation politely. At the same time, be honest with the new company about your notice. Most will understand and might be flexible.

continue— so I really want to know is it a bad thing if i resign within 24 hours? and also I dont get the interview date yet since they are waiting for my confirmation first. it’s all on me i know but somehow i never really had a bad resignation experience. so im afraid i take a wrong step..
