Am i lazy, overthinking or is it time to quit my job... 🤔
Since 4 months ago, this is my routine:
1. Every morning I snooze my alarm at least 10 times before I get up.
2. I dread going to work. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
3. My workload is a lot, but my motivation is ZERO.
4. I used to be excited about this job, now I feel like a zombie.
I can't understand why I'm feeling this way. Pls help me...

You’re not alone. I’ve been there..coordinating multiple deadlines, juggling team needs, and suddenly feeling like I’m on autopilot. If your motivation’s been gone for months, that’s a red flag. You’re not lazy, and you’re definitely not alone in overthinking. Try asking yourself, what parts of the job still give you energy? That might help you decide whether to adjust or move on.

Honestly, I went through the exact same phase. Hari2 rasa kosong, kerja jadi rutin, and setiap pagi rasa macam nak give up. Bila dah sampai tahap tu, itu bukan malas! Burnout! I took a step back, buat self-reflection, and akhirnya I decided to move on. Best decision ever. Kadang-kadang, it’s not us.. it’s the environment.

"I dread going to work. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY." <--- Yes. Take care of your mental health because no one is going to take care of it for you.

Sales Administration Role
I feel you. Dalam Sales Admin, kerja banyak behind-the-scenes, tapi pressure tetap tinggi. Bila dah hilang motivasi berbulan-bulan, itu bukan overthinking, it’s a sign. Mungkin dah sampai masa untuk fikir apa next step. Kalau rasa tak berkembang atau emotionally penat sangat, tak salah pun nak consider a change. Jaga mental health tu penting.

Operations Manager
Dulu I pernah rasa benda yang sama, even dah jadi Ops Manager, tak bermaksud immune dari rasa burnout. Bila kita dah lama dalam cycle kerja-kerja-kerja, kita lupa nak jaga diri sendiri. Trust me, you’re not alone. Kalau you dah try macam-macam tapi still rasa kosong, maybe it's time to explore something baru. Your well-being comes first.

Assistant Store Manager
Dulu masa I jaga shift, selalu rasa drained. Bangun pagi pun rasa nak avoid kerja. Tapi lepas I open up dengan supervisor and adjust sikit role I, things slowly got better. Maybe it’s not time to quit yet, maybe time to speak up and cari support.

I’ve been there too, dragging myself to work every day, feeling like something had drained all my energy. I used to be full of life and enthusiasm, but somewhere along the way, I hit a phase where I knew I had to let go and move on. That decision changed everything. Now, I feel genuinely happy and mentally healthy. I can smile again, breathe deeply, and truly appreciate the little things. Hope you feel the same someday too, you deserve peace and light. All the best!

Is there any items below that make u continue staying
1. Colleagues
2. Money
3. Career growth
4. Your direct supervisor
If answer is none of above, is time to move
However, if you ever face panic attack frequently .. then don’t think .. just go.
