I’ve been working hard to build up my skills in data analytics—got multiple certs, completed online courses, and even done some personal projects. 📊 But every time I check job listings, most still ask for a degree in tech or computer science. It’s frustrating because I know I have the skills, but the paper seems to hold me back. Is it still possible to break into data analytics without a related degree? Anyone managed to land a role based on skills alone?

For a start, you can aim for roles related to marketing analytics. This way, it helps to sell yourself that you have domain and the hard skills to back it up.

Try applying for internships or entry roles. Networking can also open doors to employers who prioritize skills over paper qualifications

Your skills and projects can still make an impact. Highlight them on your resume and LinkedIn. Some companies value experience over degrees!
