Bila tengok job posting dengan gaji below RM2500, i senyum je lah because I know my worth. I think it's a good wake up call for fresh grads to be more selective when it comes to work and salary. Tak semua peluang kerja sesuai dengan kita. When we know our worth, we'll be confident to aim higher and apply jobs at the right places. Of course, kalau keadaan you memaksa utk terima dulu kerja dgn gaji yg rendah, it's OK. But always remember that you deserve gaji yg setimpal dgn kerja you ❤️

Well said! Bila kita kenal nilai diri, kita jadi lebih berani nak apply kat tempat yang sesuai. Gaji rendah tu bukan ukurannya, yang penting growth kita.

Agree! Confidence tu datang bila kita tahu apa kita boleh offer. Tak salah start rendah kalau keadaan mendesak, tapi jangan selamanya stay situ.

Nice reminder! Fresh grads memang selalu rasa terpaksa grab je apa yang ada. But kalau kita pandai pilih, boleh elak daripada stuck dekat tempat yang tak hargai kita.

know your worth, align it right with the market demand/direction, have a plan for 3 to 5 years, always test the job market (to validate if your skillset meet market demand), get a feel for an interviews (if invited make sure to attend), always learning - not necessarily work related. Typically difficult to do but it is needed to ensure your survival and increase your survival rate in the cut-throat job market.
Never an easy journey but all the best, young fellas.

I dulu mcm ni. Terima je gaji berapa. Lepas dh masuk kerja, others dept suruh buat itu ini and I anggap semua tu as a ilmu. Lama2 jadi kerja kita pulak dgn gati tk setimpal. Bertahan jugak 6tahun dkt situ

Betul tu, knowing your worth makes a big difference. Kadang kita terlalu rush nak kerja sampai lupa nilai diri sendiri. Slowly aim higher, rezeki akan datang juga.
