hi i need help.
i dah submit surat resign semalam with 1 month notice. and im planning to amik AL for first week of feb and last week of january. tapi my boss said a month i boleh amik cuti 0.5 day je sebab AL i 8 days. so prorate 0.5 day a month. so question is tak boleh ke habiskan 8 days AL tu untuk untuk 2 weeks before i berhenti?

Ntah la, aku macam tak berapa nak menerima dengan concept cuti AL ni. Bagi logik aku, pekerja mmg patut dapat 12 hari cuti setahun. Itu dikira benefit dari company tu tawarkan. kenapa nak kena ada pro-rate jadah ni pula haha

by law awak tak boleh guna cuti 8 hari tu. Boleh periksa polisi syarikat awak. Ada sesetengah syarikat, dia tutup mata je, sebab dia faham ada pekerja yang nak berhenti guna cuti untuk pendekkan tempoh kerja.

Biasanya AL tu ikut “earned/entitled”. Kalau AL 8 hari tu annual entitlement, masa resign tengah tahun/awal tahun memang akan pro-rate ikut bulan kerja. So mungkin memang belum “earn” semua 8 hari lagi.. unless you dpt boss yg tak berkira.

my prev company also mcm tu, each month tu ada allocation untuk sehari cuti je. So kalau nak pakai in advanced kena inform superior. But in your case, i tak sure kalau you eligible untuk cuti for the upcoming months ke tak
