Honestly, I’m not that fluent in English, so every time I get an interview, I’ll usually ask first if they need someone yang fluent in English. And I really appreciate bila interviewer ok je if I cakap in Malay.
Tapi masa interview hari tu, interviewer tu cakap, “You said that you cannot speak English, but I think you have no problem speaking English.” 😭 I was so touched, I took that as a compliment, and it really boosted my confidence to speak English. How about you guys?
