How do you motivate team members who’ve clearly checked out without turning into a micromanaging boss? I get it—burnout, disengagement, or just wanting to do the bare minimum is real. But as a manager, it’s frustrating to see potential go untapped. I want to inspire, not hover. Anyone managed to reignite that spark in your team? I’m all ears for ideas that have actually worked!

Reigniting motivation without micromanaging is tough but definitely possible. I try creating an environment of ownership and accountability, giving team members more responsibility and involving them in decision-making. Sometimes, it’s about reconnecting them to the bigger picture and helping them see how their work contributes to the team’s success. Regular feedback and recognizing progress, no matter how small, goes a long way in getting them back on track
