Salam everyone! I know my question is going to be a bit sensitive but I'm so curious! For those yang selalu tukar kerja, boleh share tak berapa banyak gaji korang naik every time korang tukar company? Kalau rasa segan nak share numbers, bagi percentage pun okay! Doesn't matter you tukar kerja from big or small companies, I just nak tahu whether the increment that you get worth it tak dengan kerja yang you kena buat? Dari segi workload, work-life balance, job satisfaction etc. Thanks in advance!

I’ve been in operations for quite a while, and yes, tukar kerja boleh bantu naik gaji dengan cepat. Tapi dari pengalaman I handle team, ramai yang stay lama bukan sebab gaji je, but sebab environment yang sihat dan ada peluang naik pangkat. Kalau rasa tak berbaloi dari semua segi (gaji, workload, balance), then barulah consider move. Don’t just chase numbers, chase growth too.

Senior Accountant
I’m in accounting, and every time I switched jobs, my salary went up 25-40%. First jump was the biggest around 40%, but workload doubled. Second jump 30%, better pay but same stress. Third jump 25%, finally found the one with decent WLB. Naik gaji memang best, tapi accounting ni kerja tetap banyak. Kalau nak lompat, negotiate well & make sure the pay matches the workload ok!

Coordination Officer
For me, I rasa normal untuk aim at least 20% increment bila tukar kerja, especially kalau skill set kita ada demand. Tapi yang ramai tak cerita is, ada juga jump dari segi pressure & expectation. So penting sangat to balance between gaji and lifestyle. Kalau boleh, cari company yang value both your work and your well-being.

Laboratory Manager
Job hopping ibarat macam gambling actually for me. It’s either you get the job that you desire or defect job. Increment is one thing and WLB is another thing. When you choose to jump meaning you have to take the risk. Of course on hop can at least increase 40% from your current salary tapi kene ingat can you endure the struggle to handle the job. Just remember this, the bigger your salary the bigger your responsibility. Kalau nak gaji besar tapi kerja senang baik dengar lagu altimet. Hahah.

I fresh grad je, baru nak masuk dunia kerja. Tapi I curious sangat jugak pasal benda ni. Sebab ramai cakap tukar kerja boleh naik gaji cepat, tapi tak tahu betul ke tak worth it bila dah tanggung workload lebih. Nak tahu juga macam mana senior-senior semua decide bila nak stay or move.

Kenaikan banyak ke sikit bergantung pada berapa gaji u. Macam I dulu, 1st job lepas grad dapat offer tak sampai 2.5k happy je sbb taktahu lagi pasal market rate dengan konsep underpaid semua tu. Pastu 2nd job, masih taktahu pasal market rate (dan taktahu boleh tanya salary range position tu), I mintak increment +RM300 je from 1st job hahah. Pastu bila keluar company tu, I dapat tahu salary range utk position i - my last drawn salary tak smpai pon lowest range of salary tu hahaha (RM3500-RM4500)

Sebelum you lompat kerja better you stay dulu about 4 to 5 years.Because if you work just only 1 to 3 years it look like experience and knowledge still tak cukup lagi.Maybe after 3 years should be Oklah.And salary usually increase about 30% to 40%.Depands on that company.Klau company besar dia banyak cawangan dia mampu jek.

Salary dlm RM1700-RM2100 .I been work in Retail for more than 10 years. Of course sometimes ada offer lagi baik. I try apply . Mula2 janji aku mcm2 offer. Dgn bagi gaji mcm ni lh. Pangkat mcm ni lh. Bila dpt offer letter kompani bagi gaji dan pangkat rendah. Bila kita persoal kn balik dowg ckp oh ini jea kita bagi. Alasan lgi truk korang takde experience yg ckup jdi ni lah yg ko dpt. Nmpk sngt kaki kencing. Lau dah janji kotakn janji. Ko ingat aku sebodoh bodoh nak terima tawaran mcm tu.
