Last year, i tersedak time interview bila budak fresh grad mintak gaji sampai RM6,000! Wonder what's in their mind sampai berani mintak that high. Before you name your price, at least do some research lah. What's the company background, market rate and pls ensure that you've the highly valuable skills to justify your expected salary. I tak marah kalau your resume sangat bagus + you really prove that you deserve it. Tapi, during IV your answers pun biasa2 je. How come you confident sgt eh?

dont waste time conduct an IV if expected salary beyond your company pay range. Pick up phone and ask their expected salary. if around your budget then call for an IV. Dont waste both parties time.

Sila pastikan expected salary ada letak dalam reume. Jika tidak ada nyatakan, sila call. Fresh grad biasala. Dia baru. Kita yg senior ni ajar dia.. Jgn tunjuk lagak mentang2 senior level

If you can't accept their expected salary, why did you choose them for the interview? If your can't pay or don't want to pay them, just reject their application. Quit complaining and be more professional.

Haha betul tu! Kadang2 budak fresh grad ni rasa macam boleh terus demand gaji tinggi, tapi kena ingat jugak kena tunjukkan dulu kemampuan. Kalau during interview jawapan pun biasa je, tiba2 nak mintak gaji RM6k, rasa macam tak kena lah kan? Sebelum tu, buat la research sikit, tengok market rate, apa company offer, dan pastikan skills tu memang cukup untuk justify gaji tinggi. Kalau memang layak, baru boleh confident!

It doesn’t make sense for fresh grads to ask for such high salaries without any proof to back it up. Before naming your price, do some research, check the company, market rates, and the skills needed. If your resume is solid, then sure, be confident, but you need to show you’re worth it!

Setuju! Kalau fresh grad terus mintak gaji RM6k, memang kena tengok balik lah, ada skills ke tak. Jangan main confident je, tapi bila tanya basic soalan pun takleh jawab. Kena buat research and build up skill first, barulah orang boleh consider gaji tinggi!

My Perantisan (last year), who was a fresh graduate in English language, submitted her resignation letter because she received a job offer from a Korean company that offered her a monthly salary of RM6K++. Furthermore, this amount did not include additional benefits such as medical coverage and allowances. The RM6K++ was purely her basic salary. I personally saw the offer letter with my own eyes.
